Changing/removing baffles with mm efi
Got my new to me rkc home and it is stupid quiet, I don't like that,. It has Vance and Hines slip ons they look to have removable baffles end caps atleast.
I'm not wanting to start a political debate about loud pipes please.
My question is if I remove or modify the baffles how far off will it throw the efi.
It is a stage II screaming eagle setup.
Any ideas on baffles that keep decent power but sound honestly I'd be fine with straights if it wouldnt kill power and hurt the motor

You need to have some back pressure for the EFI system to work right. That being said I just put a set of dual oval V&H on mine that sound great. I am running a Doebeck tuner that I can dial the system in with. The '96 did not have a tunable ECM.
On my mufflers I can see straight through them and see the baffle ridges along the sides.
