Parts Websites
Over the years I've swapped my loyalties between several different websites, which provide us with an electronic version of the parts manuals. The reason I've just swapped is that every now and then they drop off the model years we owners of older bikes are most interested in and both Alaska and Ronnies have let me down in recent times.
And so to Dodge City, my latest 'favourite'. It's like winding the clock back several years, as they take us back to 1941. Lord knows why the others have cut back, but I'm pleased to report that all is at peace with the Harley World once more!
Here's a toast to Dodge City H-D! Goodonya chaps.....

Well it was good while it lasted, but Dodge City H-D seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth and taken it's parts website with it. Anyone have any idea what happened to them? More to the point, has anyone found a parts website that went back in time as far - back to the 1940s IIRC.

Of course you are - many thanks old chap. Normal service is restored. You deserve a lovely warm and refreshing beer:
Well I didn't expect it to turn out that big, but here it is, for what it's worth - all the way from Bedford!

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I use Harley Davidson's Service Information Portal (SIP) for my online parts diagrams. They're the only site I've found so far that shows the entire parts list, with part numbers, for all the parts shown in the diagram. Every other online parts site I've ever tried to use only shows the part numbers for a few of the parts shown in the parts breakdown picture. Once I registered and selected my bike, I copied the link and bookmarked it, now that link takes me right to my bike's parts pages.
Here's the link for the SIP:

You have to click on "Register for Access" and fill in some info, but it's free and you get access to "Owner’s Manuals, Parts Catalogs, and Wiring Diagrams". I've only used the Parts Catalogs.
I've never had them email me or try to contact me in any way, so far.
