Factory prebent rubber oil hoses that run from the oil pan to oil pump and oil filter to the oil pump have multiple direction prebent 90 degree tight turns that are obsolete. Can't bend rubber hose that tight and I also run a oil pump cover so the top hose needs to be tight like a factory setup, has anyone installing a engine in a bagger figure out a good system to replace these tight bent hoses?
Maybe buy some copper tubing, size you need, & a cheap tube bender & make your own? Just a thought.

copper or stainlees steel tubing is NOT the answer. Been there too much vibratrion between motor and trans housing. It will drive you nuts. I personally called every aftermarketer until I had what I needed.
I just did it on a 86'. I used a combination of fitting for the bends and hose re-direction. Working fine and looks clean.
Believe me it will not stand a 1500 mile day-&-a-half trip. Maybe for around town bar hopping but not long term. I do this in the oil patch, even with anti-vibration fittings it just does not hold up.
a lot of the ol' timers warned me against copper lines several remodels ago. Copper is for your home's plumbing and not your bike save for stranded wiring.
after several vibrating miles it will loosen.
Go to a hydraulic shop, or any shop that specifies in hydraulics and makes hydraulic lines. I'm sure they can make you some high quality steel braided stuff that absolutley will not kink no matter what you do. Won't know until you call.

They aren't obsolete. I just bought all new lines for my build from my local Indy and they were able to get them from HD in a day or two. Your lines should be identical to mine
Got the part numbers you need? I can call them tomorrow when they open
