Default Thunderheader (attn. D gyver)

I'm installing the sidecar mounts and need to remove the Thunderheader. It is not cooperating, any tips?

Are you saying you can't get the Thunder Header off or that it interferes with the side car mounting?

I couldn't get it off. I left the garage, had a sammich, then went back and saw that the wrap wouldn't let the flanges clear the studs. DOH!

It had to come off to install the mounts. I had read that the TH would interfere with the lower rear mount. We'll see.

that part is easy reclamp the wrap about an inch further and trim the wrap

about the sidecar mounts getting in the way. I have no idea the only side car I have ever messed with is sitting in the weeds right now. one day I might restore it.
