S&S carb cut out
I have a 85 FXRS, has high comp pistons,head work,cam,thunder header, and S&S super E carb. My problem is when i wheelie my bike just after the front wheel is up for a few seconds, the carb cuts out and front end comes down,then bikes runs fine once its back down. Ive tried few things adjusting the carb and changing jets, also changing the float level, still same thing. anyone else come across this or have anything i could try with the carb, please throw it out to me want to try everything i can before i just go with a different carb Thanks!!!

if you have a stock petcock Than you need a pingel as they come with a 5 1/6 outlet and 3 times the flow of a stock one
if your using 1/4 inch fuel line you take it off the bikes carb U need 5 /16 fuel line
if you have a stupid filter on it throw it away

float level
Definitely sounds like a float level issue. You can go online to S&S and down load the manual for the carb and get the correct adjustment. Usually when a carb is being rebuilt its off the bike and to Set the float it should be level with the body of the carb when flipped upside down. With it on the bike it's a little more difficult but doable just push it up real gently till the needle seats and off coarse turn of the fuel before you start.
