Default Speedo off after six speed install

Installed the Ultima six speed kit in my 1996 Road King. Now the speedo is about 10 to 20 miles per hour off. Seems like the faster I go the more inaccurate it becomes. Any ideas?

Doesn't the speedometer rub off the front wheel on your bike? Shouldn't matter what type of driveline you have unless it's some sensor type or gps based speedometer.

Default Yes

I installed the exact same 6 speed but also replaced my primary drive with a BDL enclosed and the rear pulley to a 70 tooth. I checked my speedo at different speeds and the ratio did progress the faster I went. I did check it to a 110 mile run on interstate 17 and in 6th it took me 70 miles exactly on my odometer to go exactly 100 miles by the mile markers. You can familiarize yourself with different gears and different speeds but the best thing to do is get a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...AAbQ&gclsrc=ds
its a link for a calibration box. assuming you have the digital odometer in your Speedo head. I have yet to get one, I still live with the guessing game. How do you like you gear box. So far I'm happy with mine.
Just so you know my final drive in 5th is 3.31:1 and at 50 on speedo i was actually going 61 mph and when in 6th 50 was actually 70mph

That is a 1st gear ratio.
For example the 5th gear in a 5 speed tranny should be 1:1.
The 5th gear in a Baker 6 speed with the compensating sprocket is 0.94:1.

The information I posted I got from Baker when I was researching getting a 6 speed.

Your table says gear ratios not final drive ratios.
Are you absolutely certain it is not talking about 1st gear?
It doesn't specify which gear.

Default Check this link

I used this link to calculate all my ratio's 1st through 6th, It is very accurate providing you hvae the correct gear ratio's . even on the dyno 47 tics turned into an approx. 3.35:1 overall ratio.
