What is the matter with these old guys selling their bikes. I am 74 and Lord willing I plan on riding another 10 years at least. Sounds like a good deal for you though. Enjoy your good fortune to the max.

I'm seeing a lot more trikes than ever out there--maybe they're buying trikes?

Jim, I've known the fellow for a few years, his health is failing and he is headed back home to Wyoming. He had a fully restored 61 Caddy Coupe de Ville convertible that he let go of for what I thought was cheap.
I do understand that when we get to a certain age things start happening that we have no control over. Like we ever did anyway. I have many friends in bad health through no fault of their own. I did not mean to be flippant. Sorry to hear about your seller but glad you can now enjoy his bike. I ride with a bunch of old guys some pushing 90, so I feel rather young yet at 74. We have one guy that rides a Sportster with a cane holder on the handle bars for when he needs it after he gets off.

That cane holder sounds good. I'm no spring chicken myself. You live up there near Frankenstein Trikes. Maybe in a few years one will be on our agenda. BTW, you weren't flippant. Life is life. Age and the affects of age is a freight train coming down the track, and our foot is stuck in the rail!
