Yes they are shorter to clear the high pipe.
Your best bet is to find someone, or your local dealership , that still has the MoCo Parts and Accessories catalog from 1999, 2000. That will show you everything offered at that time.
Sorry I do not have that to help you out, my local is Suffolk HD in Oakdale, they do have a good selection of older books at the parts counter. Maybe you can give them a call to see if they have that year book.

leather saddlebags?
Her is what was available in 98,99 original HD soft leather bags.just got done reconditioning them..I call them soft but they are pretty thick and stand upright rather well...they were $400.00 New.
