Default Putting on dual disk

I am trying to put dual disks on the front of my '95 Heritage.
Schex3x sent me some lowers from his bagger but when I measure them they are shorter than the stock ones on my Heritage.
Can I use them with my tubes or do I need to get different tubes?

What about the wheel? You'll need one that accepts dual discs. I think it is cheaper to go with a six piston caliper. One of those will run $400 and you'll be done.

That part is done already.
I put mags on a while back.

how much shorter are we talking? My gut feeling is your tubes should be ok. Depending on the length of your covers, you may notice some marks on the tubes where your original seals were riding.

From what I can tell it looks like about 1" - 1.5".
I can't get exact measurements until I compare it to one off the bike.

A friend of mine has one off the bike and I will get exact measurements in a few hours.

After measuring the FLT lowers are 1.25" shorter than my Heritage lowers.
All the difference is between the fender mounts and the bottom of the lower.
From the fender brackets to the top they are the same size.

What year are the lowers? I just measured a set of softail lowers, a set of evo touring lowers and a set of shovel touring lowers...all virtually the same length...major difference in the fender mounting point...you will have to use a touring fender or an adapter.

It's easy enough to fabricate an adapter.

I've always preferred making stuff if possible.....It's fun to come up with cool **** that no one else has.
Sometimes I'll buy the "off the shelf" stuff, it depends on my mood.
