Larry Did you use a 2 or 3 stage paint.
Base / clear coat or
Base /pearl / Clear coat ?????

Not quite sure if this was an actual question but if your gettin your bike or anything else painted by someone who knows what they're doing, it will be cut in . Don't call "MACO"!!!!

I think cutting in body panel on a car is important. if you hang the bike parts, you will have access to the whole part, and there won't be any seems to cut in.

That's been my thoughts as well.
Now this ain't like car hood that when installed the edges and underside are not easily accessible.
It would be according to how parts are positoned or hung as mentioned here. Gotta make a decision here soon.
