Default Combination Speedometer and Tachometer Kit

I need to replace the speedometer of my 1998 HARLEY DAVIDSON ROAD KING CLASSIC - FLHRCI. Does anyone can advice me on what device to buy? I would like to install the HARLEY DAVIDSON Combination Speedometer and Tachometer Kit but I´m not sure it fits on my bike. Thanks!

The Haley catalog should be able to tell you if it will fit.
Which one were you thinking about?

The problem is that I need one in KMPH (we don´t use MPH here in Brazil)

Contact the manufacturer directly. I have a 97 flht that has a kph speedometer with a clear mph sticker on the glass. Any manufacturer should be able to change the gauge face for you.

I have a similar tach speedo combo. While it looks good, the tach is so far out of your vision you have to look down and take your eyes off the road to see it. Not safe when running to redline. A tach that mounts on the handlebar or risers is more in your line of vision and much more useful in my opinion having had both.

My 98 FLHRCI has that same gauge on it. Looks pretty, but if you plan on looking at rpms all the time it's not a good choice. Tach is below sight line.

Your 1998 Road King Classic is a hard wired electronic speedometer with an LCD odometer.
Translation: it is not a plug and play speedometer and would require the separate purchase of a retrofit kit in order to make it a simple plug-in style speedometer.
It requires about 12 wires to be cut.
If your speedometer does not have the bleeding LCD odometer screen (dark odometer window stain) then just consider a simple sticker on the outside of the glass with KPH printed.
The stickers are available on e b a y or you can have a printer make one for you.
Most will agree that an odometer on the tank looks cool but is rarely viewed due to position.
