I was just running over some wholesale auction results from a Cali sale, and thought I'd share some interesting info on our Evos. The touring bikes are bringing about what you'd expect. 3 to 4k so they can be sold for 5-6k after fees, transport, yadda, yadda...... Soft Tails are around clean book, but anything with a springer..... holy crap. 2-3k over clean wholesale book. In a dealers only auction.
Yep and they sell quick... I'm thinking about selling mine for something different and I don't think it will be that hard...Has to be an OEm springer...
Are you looking for a moco springer, Tom? I ask because there is one for sale near me and the seller is a decent guy not looking to break the bank. It's a 1990s fx. I'll get the particulars for you but I remember a shock, good chrome and maybe an axle.
Lemme know,
Tom

My next project may have to be a Springer.
The Heritage Springers seem to hold value. The '97-'03 models a bit more so than the '05-'07. For some reason they never caught on big. Really enjoy my '98.
Not sure what the other models with the narrow springers are called but those riders are just as passionate about their bike/models.
His ship cost is double, so is his price.
The flsts accessories go for sky high prices too. 2k for the tour pack, 4-600 for fender tips, 300 floorboard fringe and on and on and on
