Stripped the tank to remove the decal.
Just decided to go with a emblem this round

The son in law that painted was kinda disappointed I didn't do a decal.
He does graphics and decal stuff for his family business.

Man if your bound and determined to go with an emblem then my personal favorite has always been the comet emblem.

To tell you the truth I don't know how to post a pic. I do want to learn becŕuse I want to be able to show my bike also. Very proud of the old girl. I think chikin on a chain one time had a sticky on the subject somewhere. I very seldom get on a laptop and don't know if pics will post off of phone. Any help would be appreciated.

If by emblem you mean a metal one your choices may be more limited than the wide variety of decals available. You can browse around the parts websites like this one for genuine Harley ones, then search by part number for a colour pic of one.
