Figured I should introduce myself since I'm interested in evo topics and want to be polite before chiming in. I've been a mechanic for 30 years, into HD for 20, and had everything from knuckles through a new street glide. It just sits unless my wife rides it though. Here's my keeper, a 1990.
Thanks for the welcome! This bike was kinda beat, but I loved how it fits. The new ones don't do it for me. So it deserved a new power plant, oil cooler, rebuild trans, beef up clutch, electrical stuff, paint, 09 up shocks, freshen forks, brake upgrade. I'm thinking about some nicer shocks in the future but it's all good for now.
