Default Brake upgrade

I finally got around to upgrading the front brakes on the King...I used a pair of 4 pot calipers from a Yamaha XJR1200. I made the brackets out of 8mm steel plate then had them chromed...so far they are a big improvement for the $85.00 invested...oh and a few hours in the workshop.

Nicely done.

I'm trying to decide if I should go that route or spend a few more bux on a wilwood. One way or another, upgrading my front brake is priority #1 on my list.

What size is that brake rotor? It looks kind of big, which is a good thing of course.

Have you thought about stainless Steele braided brake lines? Not for looks, but for performance due to the stainless braided lines not expanding like the regular rubber ones do?
