Michelin Commander II are what a good many around here have gone too. I have a set on my Venture and I can say they will be on the Evo when the time comes.

Thanks David. Got the PM. I was visiting a friend in Arkansas the last few days and he just got the Michelins and loves them. I may give then a try, but will have to switch back to black walls. Probably worth it. Also considering the Dunlop Elites. Anything with tread looks good about now.
It does seem that cheap MC tires wear out quick which begs the question: Are they really a deal? My buddy lost his job and put some Kendas on his bike. He rides a ton of miles in a year and the Kenda wore out in a hurry. He wasn't complaining. It got him through a rough patch but, lasted less than half of what he was used to getting on a MC tire.
I do throw my bike around and drag parts all the time. The Stinko is a sticky tire. It feels way better that the 402 Dunlops ever did. The 402s washed out more than once. I have never felt the Stinkos washing out.
