I can not find any info on where to get the aluminium strips to put on the bags I have.
I have looked on the Harley parts microfiche, any one have a lead?
Those are FXRT bags and the parts are probably obsoleted. You could try try Elvis. Hold onto your wallet. Or find a set of torn up bags with a good strip.

Thanks Owtlaw, I know about Elvis but I refuse to buy anything from him, if he had reasonable prices I'd have bought everything I needed already. I have to deal with international shipping and import tax, so his prices are out of my league.
I was hoping someone on here had an old bag or two that were scuffed up but the lip/strip were good as you can see I that's all I need.
I might try to find a company here that can make reproductions sell a few bags to make my money back!
