Do you know what Harley did to fix the cam chain tensioners?
They changed the design, also upgraded the oil pump, which is a part of the timing module that fits inside the cam chest. There is an upgrade kit available for earlier bikes. There are zillions of threads all over HDF, as it was a hot topic for a long time. There are also aftermarket upgrades available, including gear-drive conversions (if the crank run-out is within spec).
