True duals means you have one pipe for each head that aren't connected at all.

This is my first reply on here, I need help finding out about my 1989 FLHTC. Do y'all run the plastic breather or is there a steel or reed replacment? I'm replacing the cam, lifters and going to adjustable pushrods. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or y'all can tell me where to go. I do have the factory repair manual, but I'm need other advice here.

you need to start your own post about the bike you are working on - i would put a reed in it others may not agree - the plastic usually cuts the breather hole to death and it will need to be bored .030 to have the correct vacuum seal when replacing it with a stock plastic or older style metal breather -- but a reed will do the job even if the bore is scored as it does not move in the circle

We can certainly help you here, but you will get more responses if you start your own thread. Give as much info as you can from the start. Good luck.
