exhaust cross reference?

exhaust cross reference?
is there a cross reference for exhaust anywhere? I have a 99 softail, just did a thread about the V&H on it I don't like now I'm shopping for a deal on a replacement prob 2 into 1 an was wonder what years fit. I see some go all the way up to 07, some go to present......I just want it to fit the heads, I can make a mounting bracket. there's a complete set off a break out near me for $50 I can use the head pipes an add some good slip ons. back in my mustang 5.0 days there were threads on what parts could be used on the older cars to upgrade the performance of the older cars...like rear disk brakes or even an independent rear suspension.....is there something like that?

thanks Tom....I ended up buying a 2 into 1 off ebay that was on an Iron horse chopper. Looking around I was getting the feeling most would work except for pass peg an maybe footboard locations an newer ones needing 02 bungs.
