I installed a Headwind Led light in my 98 Road King and the difference between the stock light and the Led is like night and day!!!!!If you live in an area as I do southwestern Pa these Led 's could save you from some unwanted road rash.If your gonna keep your EVO for a few years it would be a great value,
Just put LED's on my FLHTC and couldn't agree more. Those things are glorious.
I had a friend ride her up and down the street so I could hear my new mufflers in action, and was really struck by his bright the lights were. Even in broad daylight they were intense.

I installed a set of LED's in my Roadglide last weekend, and this is the first time since I had the bike that I feel comfortable riding at night down a dark road. I can tell you that these led's toss out a ton of light, but do not blind drivers coming at you. I have not been flashed once. At about $20 a piece this is one of the best $40 I ever spent on my bike.
The Stock headlights were a joke, so I replaced the bulbs with PIAA halogens. They were good, but still lacking. I then updated the bubble on the front to a 2009 style with the PIAA's. Better, but no winner.
Jim, is that your lounge or the local barber shop?!
As for LEDs, I thought of using LED bulbs, but have discovered a few things that I am not happy with. I have bought bulbs for Hyacinth's oval fog lamps, which simply won't fit, they are too big! Also some owners have observed that beam pattern goes awry when using them in headlamps, due to not focussing the light from the bigger LED bulbs very well.
So I have recently invested in a set of three Trucklites. They are even available now for driving on the proper side of the road!
