Rb racing is one of the better pipes. I have one but by what I hear is the supertrapp is a better choice because you can tune it to your build and produce the most amount of hp/tq. As for the 8 cam it really likes 10.8:1, I know cause I have one of those too. Don't forget to post a dyno when completed
what are your thoughts on the LSR 2-1 ? sound, performance etc etc
Not being too specific on your head work tease, I'm gonna bet that bike will be a blast to ride. Not too much better than to beat a Twinkie stop light to stop light. Man I wanna get ride in this week, weather permitting...
Op, to your original question; my riding buddy had the supertrapp and he messed around with the 'plates' and I thought it was nice. Why mention it? He had a w8 with head work too, his bike was not a stump-puller. Head studs puller, I think he lifted only 6 of them. The other two were perfectly fine!
Haha
Happy New Year,
Tom

I do liked them a lot. Not the greatest pipe on low end but still very aggressive and Loud. I truely love the sound when cruising between 2200-2800 rpm. They will set of car alarms.... Here's a sound bite.. I Will say this about the pipe at 6500rpm on the dyno the hp was still climbing. If i took it to 7k it might have hit 100hp. That would be a mix of the heads cam and pipe though.... Never just one thing.
I has Bassani pro streets on my fatboy now....the only riding I did was a test ride after the cam swap...they seems to pull OK but that was compared to a stock cam bike with short shots. I thought about a 2 into 1 to help performance but my past experience with 2 into 1's was they're a pain to install for me. I do like the sound of the Bassani's.
I also have a set of bassani 2-1's and i must say i really like them as well. The down low feels real good on the butt dyno... I recently removed the fiberglass and the end cone, sounds a little better. My wife don't like them though says their not loud enough.

those are some impressive numbers on the Dyno I am hoping that when im done, that mine will hopefully be in the 90 hp range or so... might be wishful thinking but she will fly either way. I think I will eventually go with the LSR 2-1 but will do some more research before I decide.

revolution performance was going to do the heads, since i have their big bore kit in it right now. with 10:5:1 wiseco pistons and going with the woods 8 cam.
