Default Sparks plugs

I have put in Daytona electronic ignition on my 1985 Evo. What are the best plugs to run with these. Also what octane fuel is best. Currently use 95 or 98. Cheers

On the gas which I have a 91 Ultra Classic, I run the real gas non-ethenol, 98. It cost a little more but I can feel the difference and I actually get more mpg. Haven't checked it lately because I've been having the carb worked on for a recal and after that a fuel leak.

Octane I think is high enough, plugs.... well that's a matter of opinion and what you're bike prefers I say you can't get a better plug than a proven E3 PLUG what I run....
E3.34 is the number for your bike non-gapable..... pre-gapped...

Best plugs I have ever put in my 98 Fatboy are the NGK Iridium IX and I have tried plenty. I also just run the highest octane non ethanol premium I can find at the pump.

I tried the E3's and I'm not impressed.
Went back to the NGK Iridium's (much better IMO).

I have also had very good luck with Autolite iridium's as well as NGK's. I guess as long as they are iridium's and not the copper tops.....

And just to add, I don't bother gapping my NGK Iridium plugs and just use as they come out of the package. They can be gapped and I have done so, but it can be challenging and I found no benefit after doing so.

Just so you know, that the gap is truly based on the output of the coil...Always go what is recommended for you model...
