Got a 89 flhs,found a broken wire in the dash. Does anyone have a diagram of the dash?

 

Should be in the back of Factory service manual. Get a picture of it somebody might know ..

 

Yeah there the cluster diagram,but I was wondering if someone had one that was more detailed,as in the rest of the wiring in the dash.

 

What color is the wire?

 

It's a black wire

 

I was going to take a photo of my manual scematic but if its black its ground then, just stretch it out and see where it can attach. A pic would help.

 

What is there that doesn't work?! What is it fastened to at the end that is attached, the instruments or something else?

 

Yes, look around for a brass eyelet or a connector that no longer has a wire crimped to it. Look for an eyelet or a connector on a bolt or a metal tab, or a butt connector from someone else who was in there before you. Happy hunting. YD

 

Look to see if it's a ground to the triple tree or frame.
