I'm back on this site to get information and give back when I can as a part of the lifelong learning thing about Harleys.
From this site, I added an extra relay on my bike to help starting click syndrome. It has cured the problem 95% of the time. The OEM wires and connections are tired though, so my back up is the push button mounted to the solenoid. With these in place, my old and tire 89 FLHTC is as close to the day it left the showroom floor....OK, I'm exaggerating here.

I took mine off when I added the 20 amp fused wire to pin 30.
Now, I'm just playing with the attach picture function. There are two most common ways to add a relay. I chose the one below.
