Default Retro dash

I am trying to find a retro cats eye or skull dash to fit my 1998 evo. I see some great images on the Web but can-the hook up a seller.

It's making me crazy!

Might as well look for another tank too. You'll need one.

Once upon a time, somebody made an adapter base plate to bolt a catseye or skull dash to softail flatside tanks...I haven't seen one in a catalog in more than ten years.

I made my own...I took a cateye base plate and a cast dash base plate...bolted them together...cut them in half...then welded the top half of the cast dash base plate to the bottom half of the catseye base plate...and had to weld on two tabs to make it work.

I like the look of the Heritage deluxe or Softail Slim dash. Would that fit my 98 RK tanks? Is the dash wiring compatable with the older style?

Very nice adaptation of old and new dashes by the way...

much talented.

With advice from Tom, I did the cats eye dash on mine, the dash is a kit from JP cycles. It was about 75.00 from Custom Chrome.
