Default 1989 flhtc Question

Hi all,

New to the forum. I've been riding originally a '95 883 did the full stage 3 in '97 using an S&S Hot 74 kit .
Been looking for a bagger and came across an '89 flhtc with just under 18,000 miles on it for around 6 grand. Dealer says it is a trade in from original owner and it has a small oil leak towards the rear.
I know nothing about the Big Twins so would like advice on whether to grab this one or keep looking preferably for a different year.
