Hi, I forgot about that.! Everything seems ok and I am just enjoying riding at the moment. Weather in Bonny Scotland a bit unpredictable this early in the year but I am hoping to put some miles in soon. Have just purchased a new OEM Rear Brake Rotor so heres hoping that the major spending is over. Nice to hear from you.i

Besides what has been said, do a compression and leak down test before you start.

Since it is a rev tech 88", try to find out what cam is in it already.

Stock cam is an EV-50

It's a strong motor, pretty punchy, I'm looking for some serious low end muscle, tired of everyone getting the drop on me when the light goes green. I know how to ride my bike...... I just want the front end in the air!

A Wood W6H would be a good cam for that 88in Revtech.

Nope that's an EVO cam.
You have to have high lift springs to use it though.

I'm pretty sure the Revtech heads are already set up for high lift. Check your heads for travel & coil bind & find out.

There's an EV-51, EV-57 or an EV-59.
You got any idea which one you have?
Every one requires high-lift springs.

From what you've said you should have high-lift springs but I'd double check that to be sure.

Many here have recommended the W6 cam (uses stock springs).
