Default '99 Fat Boy

Been looking at this '99 Fat Boy. 13,000+miles.
Don't think he will budge from $6,000.
Looking for some input.
Thanks.

about a year ago I bought a 99 fatboy with just under 18K on it, paint only had a few marks on it, new spoke wheels an tires, stock other than V&H short shots. He was asking $6K I got it for $5K.

I couldn't get the link to work an couldn't see the pics....but the bottom line is if you like the bike an can live with the price it's a good deal to you. Riding season is winding down around here an EVO's aren't in great demand, the new motor release may add to values dropping in used bikes. The bike I bought was on craigslist for a month before I offered $5K cash. IF you love it that's an ok price, if you can live without it you can gamble on it being listed for a while an maybe save another $500

Like any used vehicle, look it over carefully. Bikes tend to show neglect and abuse more readily than cars. If it looks wrong, it probably is.

Thank you for the reply.
I couldn't get the link to work either but could be due to my inability to post properly with a phone which I'm not use to.
Bike has custom wheels, looks like long shots and appears to be immaculate from what I can tell.
As you suggested, I think I'll let it stay on the market for a bit.
Thanks again.

Appreciate your input PC.

FWIW and IMHO and all that, the factory wheels are one of the coolest things on a Fatboy. Remove them = remove value.

I haven't but em on yet but I looked around for a set of used FB wheels. I think I'll go ahead a wear out the tires before changing them out.

if so those wheels subtract from the value IMO! Not diggin the fringe either. looks pretty solid otherwise.

is that tank lifted? mine sits way closer to the air cleaner.

Not a gret deal but is a good looking ride. If I was in the market I would offer 5600.... That would be fair......

And no, Tank is in stock placement....
