about a year ago I bought a 99 fatboy with just under 18K on it, paint only had a few marks on it, new spoke wheels an tires, stock other than V&H short shots. He was asking $6K I got it for $5K.
I couldn't get the link to work an couldn't see the pics....but the bottom line is if you like the bike an can live with the price it's a good deal to you. Riding season is winding down around here an EVO's aren't in great demand, the new motor release may add to values dropping in used bikes. The bike I bought was on craigslist for a month before I offered $5K cash. IF you love it that's an ok price, if you can live without it you can gamble on it being listed for a while an maybe save another $500

Like any used vehicle, look it over carefully. Bikes tend to show neglect and abuse more readily than cars. If it looks wrong, it probably is.

Bike has custom wheels, looks like long shots and appears to be immaculate from what I can tell.
As you suggested, I think I'll let it stay on the market for a bit.
