I e had her up and running since Thursday. I rode her to work yesterday and low and behold a young college girl pulls in front of me and I totalled my baby. My question is what do I do to not get low balled by her insurance company. I've invested 2200 in the engin alone in the past few months
1) Get a lawyer
2) Say nothing about it online. The insurance companies will twist every word against you.
3) Go to a doctor immediately. If it hurts after the accident and didn't before, that needs to be documented in your medical file.

Chances are the engine is still fine. Buy it back for cheap then buy a similar bike for cheap and swap your engine and all your best parts over. eBay the leftovers to recoup cost.
Don't take a settlement right away. Sometimes medical issues may take a little while to surface. My breast bone still hurts from landing on my chest after being hit from behind and thrown over the handlebars in 1995 or 1996.
