Mine is cut off, I have an extra stick if I need to check the oil level, which never happens unless a leak pops up.

I just dump 24oz in it and go at oil change time, really no need to even check the level.

Exactly this. I don't know if it's ever been a problem with Baker transmission dipsticks, but I've definitely heard about it with HDs.

I just wish he would have remembered to TELL ME about it. It would have prevented me from stressing my *** off the last two days.

That makes me feel better. A supplier was about to get some dipsticks shoved up their.....
There were issues with the 2 piece HD dipsticks and that's why we made a solid one piece.
