carb is leaking
my lowrider has been setting for a long time. thought I got all the gas out but a little was left in it enough to make me need a kit for it any help would be great.been a min. and I have forgot a lot thanks
Close the petcock and pull the carburetor.
Remove the bowl and clean it out with carb cleaner such as Berryman B12. Tye reason for the leak is the needle on the float is gunned up. Chances are the jets are gummy as well.
Just a matter of disassembly slowly and reassemble slowly, putting everything back precisely like it was.
Wear gloves and work in a ventilated area.
Drain your tank and wash it out as well.
No big deal really.
