The wife and I finally decided no more exchanging gifts for x-mas ,save money for what we really need,(or want) , so......this year we bought a snow blower. My bike has to learn to share the garage.

If I lived where I could ride all year, I'd probably ride less, because I'd take the good weather for granted. Winter gives me time to play music, so I don't regret the down time. I just hate the snow, salt and slop I have to deal with.

It snows here maybe once every 5 years. I like the snow. Don't know how fond I'd be of it, were I to be out shoveling the walks/driveway. But it's nice to have a fire going, a hot toddy, and watch the snowflakes coming down when you've got no place you have to be. As for riding, I'd think a winter I can't ride through would make me appreciate the times I can ride all the more. Here, you can ride pretty much year round. You get used to it.

Cool

In some ways it was easier to ride in winter when we had to kick start our bike - got us warm, at least for part of the journey!
