I'm pondering the benefits to bikers of winter....
The only thing I can come up with is that I can put my beer on the deck and keep it frosty cold....
28 degrees right now. Looking to get 1" of snow tonight, and 3-5 inches tomorrow. Time to hunker down...
Okay not tech ^^^
So here's what I'm fixin' to work on:
Changing out the oils, adjusting the clutch, lubing the cables, replacing the handlebars (thanks 0maha), replacing the seat (thanks Tpost), muffler work, and whatever else I run across...
Yea it's come around again. Have to admit I enjoy the forum during winter , lots of interesting reading and projects.
Talking to THC earlier he and I both were whining about it being cold here in Texas It was 26 where I am at yesterday morning and 30 this morning. Had a lite snow that didn't stick for more than a few hours.
I flat would choke if I was told to move to your part of the country Hackd.
^^^ Funny. I'll try and laugh about that tomorrow when I'm blowing snow off my driveway/walks...

I've got the cold as well, 25 degrees this morning ... only got around 3 inches of snow last night, but it's to come down all day with another 3 to 7 forecast ... almost got my winter service and good cleaning done on the '96 ... should start on the trike in a week or two ... it's something to do during the cold white winter ...
Hackd, we're neighbors. It's snowing pretty good this morning. I heard that we're supposed to get 6-10 inches now. I used to like snow but not so much now, especially since I sold the snowmobiles this summer.
Doing a Toys for Tots run today. Temps at 47 right now. Shooting down I-10 to Harley dealership will be brisk but, hey, can't bitch. There is no snow to here.
Trying to look at the positives, deer hunting becomes better and 15 degrees going to the field yesterday, besides my engine is going to throw the starter on the ground if I try and start it when it is this cold.
Didn't the same topic come up with the cold and whinny Texans last year at this time?
