I'm not disappointed in my exhaust with power cones, but I do wonder what or if something would change if I kept the cone in and added the thumb screw also.
I may try this in spring just to experiment a bit. However... the cone stays.

Certainly cheap and easy to try. If you have baffles it won't make a difference that is for sure. No baffles but power cones? I'm curious if it will make a difference, please try to post up your results.

Yeah, there is no baffle at all, I may even order the real short baffle and see what those would do,I think they are ONLY six inches, and cheap, 1-3/4" pipes.....

I felt a definite power loss with the cheap baffles compared to open pipes or thumbscrew. Felt like I'd plugged up the exhaust. But my bike had pretty long pipes so that might have something to do with it.
Will be interestig to hear your thoughts if you do the experiments.
