Sounds like everyone is OK with Medina Highpoint. Let's pick a weekend, get a preliminary head count, and I'll contact them and try to get us a good rate.

Calendar landscape for April and May is as follows:

Easter is April 16th.

I have a Special Olympics competition on May 5-6 (I coach and my daughter competes), so if y'all pick that weekend, my attendance will be spotty, but don't let me hold you back. I'll work with it.

May 14th is Mother's Day. Attendance would certainly suffer.

May 29th is Memorial Day. This also affects the weekend prior, since many of us would have an issue taking two long weekends in a row.

So after looking at all of this, my two best weekends are April 21-23 and April 28-30. Bonus is that the wildflowers should be amazing. Negatives are, we could see some rain.

Discuss please. ;-)

I'd rather do it in June.
Warmer and less chance of rain.
You and I got enough of that last year Owtlaw!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 3-4th is before ROT (assuming anyone here is planning on attending) which I stay home for 'cause of all the idiots that come into town for and can't ride worth a ****.

Keep in mind that the 2nd-4th is the week after Memorial Day, and is already a short work week. The following weekend is ROT, when the area should be avoided unless attending. The 14th is Father's Day. That pretty much leaves us with the 23rd-25th open, and the week after that has what will be a 4 or 5 day weekend because of how Independence Day falls (On Tuesday).

Whatever and whenever you settle on, I'll do what I can to make it.

I agree with Omaha, y'all that are close, pick best date for area conditions, weather, crowd. If I can make it I'll ride that way.

I'd be good with the 23rd-25th.
Who the hell am I kidding? I'd be good with whatever is decided but would prefer June.

Just mapped it out. I've got some friends in Baton Rouge who experienced a terrible tragedy a few months ago, and I'd like to stop in and visit them. So, Omaha to the Meet Up to Baton Rouge and then back to Omaha works out to about 2500 miles. Hopefully this all comes together. That would be a nice trip.

Middle of may to the middle of June would work for me.
