99 Electra glide radio

Exclamation 99 Electra glide radio
My farther has a 99 Electra glide that he hadn't rode for 2 yrs so the battery was shot. The radio worked fine when he parked it. After installing the new battery when you turn the ignition on the radio starts humming. When you hit the power button on the radio to turn it on it just makes another humming sound with a different tone. No clue what it's doing. Easy fix for now pulled the radio fuse. LOL has anyone had this happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start by checking and cleaning power and ground wires to the radio and speakers. Electrical problems are often actually mechanical, meaning that they are caused by something like dirty/broken/corroded connections. Disconnect every connector, clean and refit using dialectric grease, to provide a protected connection.

Fuses are under the Left leg side panel I had a few bad fuses retro radio wouldn't work but biketronics walked me through it
