What size are the headlight retaining ring screws?

I can't find the dimensions of the screw.

They are a small self tapping type. I believe there are a 10/32 thread

The screws on my Softail are 6-32 pan head screws.

Joe, do your self a favor and but a couple boxes of different size zip loc bags and a post it note pad. Put the parts in the bag and label them. I have loads of bagged, labeled parts on the shelf and can tell at a glance what they are ... When you take the parts off drop them in the bag and you're good to go.
