What's some of the info on it? Mileage? Mods? Around what it cost. I'm looking at one almost the same but it's a 92 But has forks. Was looking to see what it's worth
20k mileage, stock except carb and pipes which is ok with me. 6ish on buy..The your looking at 5k just my thoughts. The Evos are being kept and still are out there but sometimes you have to hunt for what you want.
The thread is a bit old but congratulations on your purchase. I almost bought a 89 a week ago. Here's a pic of my 99 (last year of the EVO) with 22k miles. Love my 2011 Heritage but it just doesn't have that EVO sound.
Andrews EV3 cam, Python Pipes and S&S Super E carb. Still have the original parts aside from wheels and bars.

Great looking bike!!!!
FWIW the last year of the EVO was 2000 with the FXR4.
Do CVO's Count???
I have always only considered "regular production" ...
Not sure I'd consider the FXR4 a CVO.
In the Harley world CVO basically translates to a bigger motor and more bling than a standard model.
The FXR4 was just a way to use up existing EVO motors.
