The cam sensor for EFI is different than the one used by carbed bikes.
I suggest you get a cam sensor for a carbed bike and try again.

You will also need the cup that goes behind the cam sensor

Other than questioning the EIM is the (2) wires connected to the coil. 98hotrodfatboy mentions swapping. I assume there are just power supply to the coil so don't understand why that would make a difference. At same time I can't trace these (2) wire back to a source on the wiring diagram.

Just change the cup. EFI ones are way different.

No need to swap sensors as both will work in it.

Good info to know. Don't forget to mark the sensor before you take it off, so you can put it back in at the same place.

As a two wire it wouldn't... If three then it would be a single fire and would make a difference. Your cam position sensor is the correct one... 32448-95a matches with the EIM of 32449-95a good for carbed.... I would lean toward your EIM being bad..

The timing cup behind the sensor is different for an efi and carbed bike.

-OP where did you get that part number? Just make sure that it is for a carbed bike. It does matter.
