gasket thinkness

Default gasket thinkness

I have a cometic .040 3 piece head gasket. and i want to go to .030 how is this done? i was under the impression you can adjust the thickness.

No you cannot. You must buy the correct thickness that you need...

The only way to adjust the thickness of your head gasket is to buy a head gasket of the thickness you want.
40 thou is stock but EVO's like 30 thou.

Well, technically, you CAN adjust the thickness, and you do it by buying the correct thickness head gasket.
