So, in June I'll be making a ride to Texas to visit friends and attend ROT. I was at ROT #2, and it's really grown to a golf cart and RV rally. :-) Anyway, just peopled watching and riding the hill country would be nice, plus getting some BBQ in Llano.
I don't plan for any issues with my bike, but looking to carry ignition insurance. Any of you change out your stock ignition and still have a good sensor plate that wants to sell, please let me know. Oh, any members here going to ROT? Wouldn't mind a meet and greet over a cold one.
BTW, I'm a transplanted Texan living in Arizona due to the wife. Getting used to this dry heat though. It was 108 yesterday. Yikes!
Hey THC, very cool of you! I don't leave until 6 Jun, so plenty of time. It will be a two day ride to Austin from Phoenix. Trying to make good time coming, but will be jumping onto 377 from I-10 up to Llano for some Cooper's BBQ on the second day. When I was stationed at Fort Hood, that was a regular Sat. run for BBQ. LOL... Camping on the road, and at ROT will be fun. I'm ready for the humidity-fest! Oh, and maybe run up to Salado to see an old Army bud.
