Got reservations for Bikefest in Las Vegas this weekend. Me and the guys that are riding are all on the fence now after the recent 'event' there. Not scared in the least bit, just feels a little weird to head out there to ride and party amidst the tragedy.
What say you? Anyone from here going (or cancelling)?
From: Formerly Tampa Bay, FL, Currently Western PA
My opinion is that if we change our plans because of terrorism, then they win (regardless of ideology). If I were going, I'd just be careful to watch for mourners and be respectful around them. But you know, I wouldn't blame you in the least if you decided to cancel either

Thanks for your input...
The only thing I did not see mentioned, is the event still happening?
Did you verify?
If yes and you still want to go, go.
As stated before if you let them stop you from living they have won.
