No, you will have to drain the tanks and remove the right hand tank to access the connectors.

While I have used a small screwdriver to get that clip off I agree with the others that said get some circlip pliers.

Don't forget to dab some grease around the pin and the ball on the clutch cable before you put the circlip back on.

Take the circlip you pull off and go to a hardware store and buy 2 more the same size BEFORE you reassemble the lever.

lost one of those on the clutch cable pin once. I noticed the pin raising out of the perch. I was glad I saw it before it came all the way out. I wrapped it with strips of duct tape to get me home.

My advice is to buy extras of those snap rings. They're easily lost and even more easily deformed during removal. I consider them a "one use" item. I buy replacements in lots of 100 on eBay.
