Hi guys,
I have a 99 heritage with the original windshield that is bolted to the forks. I would like to install quick release hardware and get a new windshield.
Probably go the the 18" LRS windshield.
What would you recommend for detachable hardware ?
Thanks in advance.
If you have the stock tanks on your bike the Memphis Shades set up is pretty good.
If you have 5 gallon tanks on your bike then you have to use the Harley set up for their TC bikes.
If you really want to use the LRS windshields you will need the Harley set up.
Yep, stock tanks. I'll check out the Memphis Shades. I'm flexible on the windshield supplier. I see that Memphis shades is one of our supporting vendors also.

Yes and they have excellent customer service also.
Would like pics when you do the changeover, maybe even some part numbers. I have a '96 heritage and really wanted a windshield with a little tint but ran up on a nos that I got for a song compared to the cost of swapping so I'll be ridin' clear for a while longer.
The H-D Shop shows several current windshields that will fit your bike, so plenty of choice available. Price complete is in the 300 bucks range, for comparison purposes, so may be worth shopping around for discounted new, or secondhand?
