Default Pre 97 Tour Pack
I am looking into getting a tour pack for my 96 Road King. I have a quick release (QR) passenger sissy bar on it now. The spread between the sissy bar mount forks is about 11 3/8ths. When I am searching for tour packs and QR mounts on the web, most of them say it will fit a 97 to 2013. I've looked at the pictures of some of these QR mounts and they look like my sissy bar QR.

So, does anyone know if the 97 and newer tour pack and QR mount will fit my 96 RK?

Yes. Reason 97 and up on parts fit, is because HD started QR at that time. Parts up to 08 will bolt on, or with slight mods fit.

Thank you.
That was the answer I was looking for. The original owner must have installed the quick release system on my 96, or it came that way from HD as an early production add on.
