The most important part of those curves is below 3,500rpm and the boost in torque from the gold line of around 20TQ to 100TQ, or 20% improvement - most impressive!

Thanx Graham,
Just walked in the door from upstate...
So true, It took about 2 .5 hours to get it to that point. I would say there was at least a dozen or better pulls and each time Scott took the time to point out the differences in the pulls... The low end was a combination of jetting and the RB pipe.....
Still a problem in the big end as well and Scott will be working on that also. I left the bike with him because there was just to much to do to unleash the potential of this build..... And not enough time for me. I have to ba back to work in the morning....

A E pipe is a n older design pipe that is very similar to a Supertrapp with real nice curves in the head pipe and an Elliptical muffler that has the same plates as the Supertrapp (a tunable pipe). when we first put it on with out any jet changes the pull picked up 2 lbs of torque and almost 5 hp.. We both were very impressed, well me more than Scott....
So for now it's still up there till Scott's finished.
The biggest thing I learned today is that I still have a lot to learn... A Dyno will tell you what you need to know if you know what the motor is capable of..... And with Scott's experience I think we'll see more....

Dam, is the RB still too big for it? the torque dip is bad. That E pipe is extinct isn't it, was a cheap exhaust but got it done and just shut down business.

Yup.... Definitely for a big inch motor.... It's for sale......
Actually I'm wrong it's good for most twins if you ride in the upper rpm range.... Works great up top......

I believe FuelMoto is producing the e-series pipe again. The guy from White Bros helped them with the engineering word has it.
Yes they are..... I should have taken a picture of it. It is a smooth looking head pipe...... The rear cylinder head pipe does not S bend as much as one would think... 1 3/4" all the way but the biggest difference is the collector is not as big as most are today..... I think it was only 2".... Also the pipe was very long. I'll bet the collector was 6" further back than that of my RB pipe and the full length stuck out past my saddlebags.....
Who cares about looks though when it really can do it all......
A Supertrapp will be almost a carbon-copy power output, and delivery, of the E Series pipe.
Note;
We just hung the adjustable E pipe on the bike.
Tuning of the number of plates could have yielded more yet, but the installation of that was to see if the change would show gains, and/or any trends....it sure did.
Scott

Yup,, That's the truth. I was totally impressed and am now more excited about this build than I though I could be.... Thanx Scott.... I should've listened to you the first time.......
