light problem

Default light problem

i have a 1995 softail springer bad boy. all my lights went out except my high beam and brake light. is this a fuse or circuit breaker problem?

A '95 softail didn't have any fuzes from the factory.
The first thing I'd check the the 6 wires connected to the ignition switch after that I'd look at the ignition switch.

Let us know if you find anything there.

Can't be a CB problem either, as each CB covers a large part of the electrical system. In addition to THC's suggestion, trace the wires for each failed light, checking for damaged wires and hence a probable ground.

Are the bulbs still good or did they blow? If they blew out, check your voltage regulator.

There are three circuits on a '95 Softail. You have failures on two of them. I suspect a failed voltage regulator, like The Dr. says. The reason the high beam and stoplight still work is that they weren't on when your voltage regulator failed and blew the rest of your lights.
