Default 1995 Roadking HELP

I have, of course, a 1995 Roadking. I have removed the back sissy bar and seat (bought a new corbin seat) and installed a new tail light bar which brought my license plate below the tail light. I was trying to clean the back of the Motorcycle to give it a smoother look. It was all successful. Installed new hard saddlebags, no problem. Looks great. However, I have a planned trip in may 2018 for a cross country ride and need a luggage trunk for more hauling space and to carry luggage bags. MY PROBLEM or may I say my difficulty is finding the mounting hardware for a detach luggage rack for the rear luggage trunk...I CAN find them for a 97' and up but where can you find them for older models? If anyone has any tips, suggestions, or can provide help I sure would appreciate it. thanks.

I think there have been posts here about using the detachable hardware on older bikes with little or no modification.

Like using the 97” detachments? I wanted to see if that were true before I started purchasing parts

I used a 1995 Electra glide quick dissconnect tour pack on my 1998 so it should work the other way around.

I was told that they didn’t make detach stuff for years before 1997, but that it might work but was wondering if someone knew for sure and possibly had a pic

Has since sold but the rear rails have a cross member that bolts the together and a quick dissconnect bolts on the fender rails
