I just bought an FXR with forward controls. It is an '87. No mid controls came with it. So I purchased a set. Most of the install seems to be easy. However Im having a few issues, like the right peg/brake mount as well as the piece that activates the rear master cylinder. Also the shift linkage is giving me a few issues. Can anyone help? Im not able to find a how to video or pictures good enough to give me an idea that Im doing it correctly. I didn't take them off so I'm using trial and error to reassemble them with the bike. Im definitely an amateur when it comes to turning a wrench and I don't want to break something that is going to cost me money for no reason.
Thanks for anyone's pictures and responses

If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for your browser, there's a fix for the Photobucket problem. Follow these directions, and like frickin' magic, Photobucket pictures once again are viewable on the devices or computers you install this fix on. That's assuming the users of Photobucket haven't closed their accounts or removed their photos.
I have no idea how long this will work, I would think PB will find out about this soon and somehow shut it down again. But in the meantime....
If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.
For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install.

I have tried the part finder diagrams. But it only shows the parts themselves and not how they attach to the frame or engine. As far as I’ve seen anyway

It's an illustrated parts list, or 'exploded diagram'. The FSM will show you in better detail the various models of FXR, including the different sets of controls available across the range.
